The Long Island Dermatological Society is a non-profit organization of practicing dermatologists, dermatologic surgeons, and dermatopathologists forming a regional network across Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens.
Our goal is to promote a better understanding of dermatology, to provide education and support for our members, and to foster our ability to effectively care for our patients.

Sponsorship details →In 1984, the American Academy of Dermatology granted LIDS the ability to award CME credits through SUNY Stony Brook, and that same year the society joined the Atlantic Dermatologic Conference. LIDS holds four CME-accredited dinner meetings each year at Westbury Manor in Westbury, NY — cocktail hour at 6:00 PM and lectures from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
