Sponsor a LIDS Meeting

Pharmaceutical and device companies are invited to sponsor the cocktail hour preceding our CME-accredited dinner meetings at Westbury Manor — connecting your team with dermatologists from across Long Island.

Who You'll Reach

LIDS represents a regional network of dermatologists, dermatologic surgeons, and dermatopathologists practicing across Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens. Our meetings are also attended by dermatology residents from three local training programs:

  • SUNY Stony Brook
  • St. John's Episcopal Hospital
  • Northwell Health

Sponsorship places your brand in front of the clinicians who write prescriptions, recommend devices, purchase practice equipment, and mentor the next generation of Long Island dermatologists.

Meeting Format

  • Four meetings per year at Westbury Manor, 1100 Jericho Turnpike, Westbury, NY
  • Cocktail Hour 6:00–7:00 PM — the sponsored portion of the evening, with informal time for sponsor interaction
  • Lecture 7:00–9:00 PM — CME-accredited educational content (independent of sponsor influence; see note below)

What Sponsorship Typically Includes

Specific terms are confirmed in writing with the LIDS Treasurer before each meeting. A typical sponsorship arrangement includes:

  • Display table or product-information area during the cocktail hour
  • Recognition signage and a verbal acknowledgment from the podium
  • Inclusion in the meeting email announcement and on-site materials
  • Opportunity to interact informally with members during the cocktail hour
  • Branded materials placed at the registration / sign-in area
CME compliance. LIDS meetings are accredited through Stony Brook University. In accordance with ACCME Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education, commercial supporters may sponsor the cocktail hour and ancillary expenses but have no influence over CME lecture content, faculty selection, or the educational planning process. Promotional materials and product information remain separate from the CME portion of the evening.

2027 dates and topics will be announced as they are finalized. Multi-meeting sponsorship arrangements are welcome.
